Dr. Hassan Yousif
B.D.S., MDent
Dr. Suraya Zaidah graduated with a Bachelor Degree in Dentistry with Honours from the University of Jordan in 1990 and has been an ADA member since 1993. She was born in Venezuela and moved to Jordan with her family as a teenager where she attended high school and university. Following that, Suraya moved to Australia to become an Australian citizen in 1991. She worked in private practices in Sydney, Jordan and Palestine. Suraya also considers herself a citizen of the world as she spent her life in four different countries and fluently speaks three languages; English, Arabic and Spanish. She enjoys painting, reading, playing chess and travelling.
Suraya aims to provide patients with the best treatment options available in a relaxed and friendly environment.
Dr Hassan Yousif first started his
journey by completing a Bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences with Honours.
Thereafter, Dr Yousif pursued his
career in dentistry by completing a dual degree, Bachelor of Dental Health Science
and Masters in Dentistry.
Dr.
Yousif has a profound interest in general dentistry and building on the
foundations of quality patient care and oral health.
Dr
Hassan has treated children,
adults, and the elderly, from many rural areas of populations less than 10000
people. In 2020, Dr Hassan completed a year-long clinical placement in rural
suburbs within Queensland.
Dr Yousif has successfully completed
the Invisalign Go Fundamentals Training Program.
He also has had training with clear
aligners and surgical planning with CBCT with the Australian Dental Association
(ADAQ).
Outside
of dentistry, Dr Yousif plays Division 1 football and is currently completing
his PhD in Human Anatomy and Physiology. He further hopes to progress into Oral
Implantology and fixed Orthodontics.
Jasmine Bachmid
B.OHT (Sydney)
Jasmine Bachmid graduated from The University of Sydney with a Bachelor of Oral Health Degree. She was awarded The Golden Scaler Award for being amongst the top achievers in her grade. She worked alongside dental professionals within NSW Local Health Districts including Sydney, Westmead, Yagoona and Nepean.
Jasmine is known amongst our patient as the tooth fairy, providing great focus in managing patients in chair and reducing dental anxiety. She also specialises in working with paediatric patients, patients with periodontal or gingival diseases and working alongside dentist in orthodontics. As an Oral Health Therapist, Jasmine is passionate about providing oral hygiene care with a keen interest in the field of paediatric care.
When Jasmine is not at the practice, she loves to spend time with her kids and exploring nature.
Ayesha Khan
B.OHT (Sydney)
Ayesha Khan graduated from the University of Sydney with a Bachelor of Oral Health Degree. She proceeded to complete her extended adult scope qualification at the University of Newcastle allowing her to treat both children and adults. She is also completing her Masters in Public Health at the University of Sydney and has worked in the Public Health Unit and was part of the COVID response team. Ayesha has experience working alongside dental professionals within Sydney and rural NSW including towns such as Singleton, Muswellbrook, Newcastle and Tamworth.
Ayesha skills in treating patients of all ages with focus on providing efficient treatment whilst ensuring her patients are receiving the best quality care. She takes passion in treating paediatric patients, treating periodontal diseases, completing adult restorative treatment and tooth whitening.
When Ayesha is not at the practice she loves watching movies, going on long walks and spending time with her friends and family
